API 505-DI Direct Input

The API 505-DI is specially designed to receive a direct signal from a guitar, bass or keyboard. The Gain control normalizes the instrument’s input level up to +4 dBu output level. The unique TONE control reduces potential “mud” in the signal, while the BRIGHT switch adds extra clarity to the top. The TONE and BRIGHT controls can be used in combination to eliminate the use of EQ during recording, ensuring a short and clean signal path.
