API “The Box” II

More than 5 years ago, API launched the first edition of “The BOX”, and it immediately became a success among professional producers and engineers, who appreciated the idea of ​​having the sound quality of the full-sized consoles delivered in a much more compact and modern format. The new version of The Box now has eight input channels, eight 500 Series slots and LED meters for each of the 24 humming channels. On the back there are the same extensive connectivity options as on the predecessor and also the same center section and comprehensive monitoring functions and last – but not least – a 0db bypass switch on each humming channel, which has become such a popular and important feature that it has found its way for API’s new 1608-II and 2448 consoles.
