With Unison, the built-in preamps via UAD-2 plug-ins can be programmed to emulate the characteristics and impedance of classic preamps and guitar amps down to the smallest detail. The combination of the digitally controlled analogue inputs and the built-in UAD processing makes it possible to record through a wide selection of colorful preamp emulations from Neve, API and Fender etc. with impressive precision. With the Apollo Twin MkII, the built-in monitoring functions have been taken a step further with Mute, DIM, Mono and switch for an extra set of speakers. With the built-in monitor talk-back microphone and the possibility to expand with more inputs, more Apollo units and more DSP, the new Apollo Twin MkII series is the obvious choice as the preferred recording interface.
