Apollo Twin USB is a 2×6 USB 3 audio interface for Windows-based PCs (on Mac, Apollo Twin Thunderbolt is used).
Apollo Twin is the combination of unique compact desktop design combined with UA’s well-known super conversion (24/192 kHz) and UAD processing power known from the other Apollo interfaces.
With the built-in UAD-2 Duo Core processing, you can record music in real time through a string of UAD plug-ins – from Neve, Studer, Lexicon, Manley, API, Marshall, etc. and access entire racks of classic EQs, compressors, preamps, reverbs, tape machines and guitar amps.

The Apollo Twin is equipped with Universal Audio’s ground-breaking Unison technology, which can provide a precise sound and character from some of the world’s most sought-after classic preamps. Every detail is accurately emulated right down to impedance and circuit performance at the component level. Based on an unprecedented hardware-software integration between Apollo’s preamps and the built-in DSP processors, it is now possible to record through emulations of classic preamps such as the included UA 610-B preamp/EQ plug-in, and with the option of adding more via UA’s online store.
The Apollo Twin USB is equipped with two first-class mic/line preamps, two analog line outputs and two digitally controlled analog monitor outputs, which ensure full resolution at all listening levels. In addition, there are 8 additional digital inputs via the optical ADAT connection. With the built-in UAD-2 Duo Core processors, you can record with UAD plug-ins in real time and use them on mixes in Cubase, Pro Tools, Live etc. With ergonomic design, solid aluminum construction and front panel access to instrument inputs and headphones, the Apollo Twin USB has all the right tools in the right place.
