The Footprint03 features a side-firing ported speaker design that delivers remarkable low-end extension without sacrificing Barefoot’s renowned standards in cabinet construction. The cabinet’s Footprint Gray polyester coating and meticulous construction using Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) ensure stability and damping, combating potential vibrations for an unparalleled listening experience.

The Footprint03 is equipped with a 1″ ring radiator tweeter for pristine and accurate high-frequency reproduction. The tweeter’s diaphragm is crafted from a high-quality fabric ring radiator material, while its housing adopts a sturdy aluminum enclosure and a solid aluminum face plug for superior rigidity and resonance control.

A 3.5″ midrange driver with an aluminum cone ensures precise midrange reproduction, while a forward-facing 6″ aluminum cone woofer delivers powerful and accurate bass reproduction. The woofer’s larger, high-sensitivity power motor and copper shorting rings effectively minimize distortion, resulting in pristine and accurate sound reproduction.

Innovative Technology for Enhanced Audio

The Footprint03 features SPOC™ (SPectrally Optimized Conversion) technology, which incorporates an analog crossover section prior to the analog-to-digital conversion, allowing high frequencies to pass into the converter unattenuated. This results in a 5-bit higher resolution or a 15 dB signal-to-noise ratio, yielding a more transparent signal.

The Footprint03 also features a new Barefoot Sound Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which reduces latency from 10 ms down to an impressive 3 ms, ensuring a near-instantaneous response and eliminating any perceptible delay for seamless audio reproduction. The DSP also enhances the low-end frequency response, delivering deeper and more impactful bass.
