Fire Unison preamps

The four Unison-compatible preamps let you record through precise and detailed microphone preamp emulations from Neve, API, Manley, Helios, UA and more.
With Unison technology, the sound of the most sought-after analog tube and solid state preamps is accurately captured, where details of the hardware circuitry and impedance can be changed by the software to achieve an exact emulation of the original hardware.
With Apollo x4 you can record with near 0-latency through emulations like the included UA 610-B Tube Preamp and EQ for an authentic analog sound not found in other interfaces.
Unison technology is also available in the two instrument inputs on the front, so you can record with the precise impedance and gain characteristics of guitar and bass amplifier emulations from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg and more.

Multiple in/outs and talkback mic

In addition to the four Unison preamps, Apollo x4 has two independent headphone outputs and two Hi-Z instrument inputs.
With 4 line outputs, optical ADAT/SPDIF in/out, monitor remote controls and built-in talkback microphone, Apollo x4 can serve as the cornerstone of your professional desktop studio.

Expansion opportunities

If you later need to expand your studio, you can combine up to four Thunderbolt Apollo interfaces and six UAD devices in total, so you can add more in/outs and more DSP down the road.
If you later expand with an Apollo x rack interface, you can use the Apollo x4 as a desktop monitor controller, providing additional DSP and more in/outs.
