High-End preamp with classic sound. Germanium Preamp and di is simple to use, but leaves its mark on the sound. Whether you use it as a DI or preamp, it will add depth and character to the signal. By adjusting the input and output, the “tone” can become more or less distinct, but one thing the Germanium never is, it is neutral.
Chandler Germanium
The Germanium range is Chandler’s own range, designed by Chandler founder Wade Goeke. Although the series is relatively newly designed, it uses completely classic components and design. Germanium transformers are extremely colorful and give this series a distinctive signature sound. Note, the Germanium 500 MKII must be mounted in the 500 series rack.
