Arturia Keylab Essential 61
Is the perfect combination of the freedom of software and the hardware control that is so important and inspiring in hardware synths. Arturia has developed a tightly integrated package where everything comes together into a higher unity. Analog Lab is Arturia’s software workstation that is a very extensive collection of presets/sounds from their award-winning software emulations of classic instruments including Moog, Roland Jupiter, Yamaha CS 80 and many others. There is control of typical parameters such as cutoff, res, env. etc. so a bit simplified compared to the individual full instruments – the sound is identical, however.
The MIDI controller provides full control over the software and the individual parameters. Everything is mapped directly and automatically to the controller, including preset changes – making the system an intuitive and extremely useful combo.
KeyLab can of course be used with all existing DAWs such as Pro Tools, Studio One, Live, etc. and KeyLab can of course also be used as a traditional midi controller with other software instruments.
