The Chandler REDD.47 pre-amp is an exact reproduction of the coveted tube pre-amps used in Abbey Road Studios’ legendary and beloved EMI REDD.51 mixer used in the period approx. 1959-1968. REDD.47 is very close to the original in construction, but with new components and updated functions which on the one hand ensure that the musical sound for which it is so well known is retained, but also adds the necessary flexibility needed in a modern studio context. Here you can get everything from the legendary clean sound of Abbey Road Studios to the distorted, indeed so distorted that it can recreate the sound of The Beatles’ ‘Revolution’ without using additional equipment.
