The Dynaudio Acoustics 18S is an advanced DSP-controlled dual-woofer subwoofer that delivers a powerful performance in a relatively compact design. The advanced DSP enables several types of adjustments to match the subwoofer to the rest of the system, including the possibilities of perfect adjustment for both rooms and monitors. Dynaudio applied advanced DSP modeling technology that acoustically matches the 18S to a Dynaudio Pro Studio Monitor from the BM, LYD series and up. 18S punch is delivered by two of Dynaudio’s brand new MSP + Hybrid Drive units. 18S adapts seamlessly to Dynaudio’s professional monitors and the setting options are accessed via the built-in display and enable precise setup with e.g. Dynaudio LYD-48. Setup options include the ability to properly set the time delay so the sub and speakers work perfectly in sync, all you have to do is enter the distance from the sub to the speakers and the sub will automatically adjust using both time and phase delays. The Dynaudio SUB 18S is also a parametric EQ for extra precise tuning. Specifications:
