The Dynaudio S9 is a completely newly designed high-end subwoofer intended for a wide range of studio applications and for both mix and mastering tasks.
Dynaudio has done everything they could to get the most accurate sound out of the compact unit. The S9 is fitted with a long-throw 9.5 inch driver and is similar in size to the BM9S II that it replaces, but in performance is more similar to the significantly larger BM 14 S II, which is not saying much.
The Dynaudio S9 is equipped with a 300W Class D amplifier and works all the way down to 22Hz. It is equipped with a variable crossover filter which can be set from 50-150 Hz.
