As part of this flexible and future-proof design, the KM A serves as the analog base for all Neumann KK series capsules (such as KK 131, KK 143, KK 183, KK 184, KK 185, and others). Together, they form a state-of-the-art small-diaphragm condenser microphone system, offering Neumann’s signature sound quality, precision, and reliability for recording, broadcast, and live applications.

The KM A provides transformerless analog output for transparent, distortion-free audio and an exceptionally wide dynamic range.
