The Telefunken M60 FET stereo set (Cardoid) is a high-end pencil microphone set for mono and stereo recording. The M60 FET series is Telefunken’s first “non-tube” FET-based condenser microphone, and uses the same capsules as the award-winning ELA-M 260 pencil tube microphone.
Telefunken have succeeded in not only making a microphone with low intrinsic noise, but at the same time retaining the classic sound for which they are so well known, making the FET60 a fantastic studio workhorse perfect for capturing sound and detail in every instrument. The M60 FET Stereo set (Cardoid) is supplied with TK60 kidney-grade capsules and with a set of Telefunken’s SGMC-5R 5-meter XLR cables with angled connectors and M761 shock mounts, packed in a practical bag.
