Telefunken M80 Purple

TELEFUNKEN Electroacoustics M80 was created to give users a better alternative to the “industry standard microphone.” With a wider frequency response and higher SPL, the M80 delivers condenser-like performance in a robust dynamic design both live and in the studio. Due to its special diaphragm, the M80 captures the emotional nuances of live vocals with an intimacy traditionally reserved for studio condenser microphones. A tight cardioid characteristic and a frequency response with a slight boost in the high frequencies of a microphone make the M80 ideal for creating vivid live vocals. The M80 uses Telefunken’s own out-put transformer, and together with the special capsule it gives the microphone its amazing sound. The M80 is offered with either a black or chrome head grill, and can also be ordered in special custom versions.
