TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik M80 created to give the user a better alternative to the “industry standard microphone.”
With a wider frequency response and higher SPL, the M80 can deliver condenser-like performance in a robust dynamic design both live and in the studio. Due to its special diaphragm, the M80 captures emotional nuances in a live vocal with an intimacy that has traditionally been reserved for studio condenser microphones. A tight kidney characteristic and a frequency response with a slight boost in the high frequencies of a microphone make the M80 ideal for creating vibrant live vocals.
The M80 uses Telefunken’s own output transformer, and together with the special capsule, it gives the microphone its fantastic sound.

The M80 is offered with either a black or chrome main grille, and can also be ordered in special custom versions.
