Moog Minitaur Analog Bass Synthesizer
The Moog Minitaur is a compact yet powerful fully analog bass synthesizer, designed to deliver the unmistakable Moog low-end in both studio and live environments. Inspired by the legendary Taurus bass pedals, the Minitaur focuses on deep, punchy bass tones while offering modern MIDI integration and hands-on control.
At its core, the Minitaur features two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) based on classic Moog circuitry, feeding into the iconic 24 dB/octave Moog ladder low-pass filter. The result is thick, harmonically rich bass with exceptional clarity and weight that sits perfectly in electronic, pop, rock, and cinematic productions.
Despite its compact desktop format, the Minitaur provides extensive sound-shaping capabilities including filter cutoff and resonance, dual envelope generators, LFO modulation, and full MIDI control. USB and traditional 5-pin MIDI connectivity ensure seamless integration with DAWs, hardware sequencers, and live performance rigs.
