The MA-37 is David Royer’s modern version of the classic Sony C-37a microphone, known for its large headroom and ability to tame the sharpest high frequencies. The C-37a became an incredibly popular microphone in the golden Hollywood era of the 60s and continues to be an often well-chosen alternative to Neumann, AKG and similar in the same class.
