The R-122 MKII-MP ribbon microphone (Matched Stereo Set) continues in the line of Royer’s original R-122 microphones, which were the world’s first phantom-powered active ribbon microphone. Here is the natural R-121 sound, but with 13 dB more output, a switchable -15 dB pad, a switchable bass cut and impedance matching circuit that makes it usable with virtually all preamps. NB, it is a good idea to purchase the Sling-Shock RSM-SS1 as seen in the last picture. Specifications
- Phantom powered circuitry provides high output and impedance matching
- -15 dB pad before the mic’s electronics gives more headroom when activated.
