With a UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core DSP accelerator, producers and sound engineers gain resources to run the award-winning UAD-2 plug-ins. The smart little USB 3 device boosts your Windows-based workstation to handle larger mixes with powerful plug-in emulations of classic audio gear. Universal Audio’s DSP engineers have worked closely with the manufacturers of the original hardware to recreate the warm analog sound of classic audio hardware down to the last detail. The UAD-2 Satellite OCTO Core is equipped with 8 SHARC processors and with the USB 3 SuperSpeed ​​connection you achieve lower latency compared to FireWire 800. The QUAD Core device comes with UA’s Analog Classics Plus plug-in bundle and gives access to more than 90 plug-ins from Manley, Ampex, Lexicon, Neve, EMT, Studer, Pultec, SSL etc., which you will find in UA’s online plug-in store.
