The legendary master amplifier from the center section of 4000G Series Consoles in the 80s. Known as a compressor that “glues” mixes together and therefore one of the most loved tools in production. Simple design with the sole purpose of making the finished mix sound bigger and with more punch, and it does. SSL has managed to squeeze this unique compressor down into a two-slot 500 format so that it can be included in many contexts, from live to studio it is now possible to get real SSL sound on the mix.
