R-122 MKII-båndmikrofonen fortsætter i rækken af Royer´s originale R-122 mikrofonr som var verdens første phantom-drevne aktive båndmikrofon.
Her er den naturlige R-121-lyd, men med 13 dB mere output, en omskiftelig -15 dB pad, en omskiftelig bas cut og impedans matching kredsløb, der gør den brugbar sammen med stort set alle preamps.
